After a failed crowd funding campaign, Oklahoma did what any sensible underground, stadium rock band would do. They pulled themselves up by their PF Flyers, played shows, worked double shifts, sold a house, and made the record of their dreams, Fever Dream.

Recorded in part at the home songwriter Jacob Sharbono sold to help fund the album, Fever Dream delves into a longing for youthful longing with an understanding that most times it’s best to let the past stay the past. The group borrow elements of 00’s Indie Rock, Pop, & 90’s Alternative to orchestrate the LP, while interweaving voices underline each song’s sentiments.

Originally intended as a one-off recording project (2014’s All Us Bad Folk), Oklahoma has become a friendly neighborhood rock band, opening for Jimmy Eat World & Hippo Campus, as well as collaborating with artists Mike Marsh (The Avett Brothers, Dashboard Confessional), Max Collins (Eve 6, Fitness), & Andy Thompson (Dessa, Jeremy Messersmith, Dan Wilson).

On October 4th, Oklahoma’s Fever Dream comes true.

"Sharp Dressed Love" is as relentless as a gust of wind, brushing across a Minnesota plain. There's almost a pride in how relentless it is. Melodies scramble over each other to be the hook that gets stuck in your head. - Ear Coffee
